Robyn created the insect-based food brand Seek after many years of frustration with the global food system. Seek launched in summer 2016 with a line of delicious and nutritious snacks. Robyn has also led multiple education workshops on edible insects in order to raise awareness and comfort levels with this alternative protein source.
Previously, Robyn served as the Deputy Director for the Lowline, an effort to build the world’s first underground park in New York City in an abandoned historic trolley terminal. The project utilizes innovative solar technology to channel sunlight underground enabling photosynthesis, so plants and trees can grow in the future subterranean park.
Robyn formerly held domestic and global senior marketing roles at Ralph Lauren, Saatchi & Saatchi, and SelectNY. She received her undergraduate degree from Lafayette College as a double major in Business/Economics and Art. She is a Tribeca Disruptor Foundation Fellow also completed the Eagle Street Rooftop Farm apprenticeship program.
